Teacups Photo Stamp Ideas

Darkroom Door - Friday, July 19, 2019

Hi there! We have recently released a new series of Photo Stamps! Today we’d like to share some ideas and cards using the Teacups Photo Stamp!

This is a beautifully detailed stamp which can be coloured in various different ways. If you want the most detail out of the stamp, we recommend stamping with permanent waterproof ink, such as Archival Ink (oil based) and then colouring with pencils, watercolours, markers and more. Here’s a few ideas:

This card by Rachel Greig was stamped with Archival Jet Black ink, then coloured with Distress Inks using a water brush. It is an easy technique that produces some stunning results! The sentiment is from the Cup Of Tea Stamp Set.

This next card created by Dawn Lewis shows how you can colour the Teacups with pencils.

Dawn used Prismacolor Pencils to colour the teacups and also used a sentiment from the Cup Of Tea Stamp Set

Next we have some projects by Connie Mercer:

Connie has created a wonderful art journal page using the Teacups as a part of the background! Connie also used the Large Mesh & Dots Stencils, Wonderful Quote Stamp and Coffee Time Stamp Set

I hope you’ve enjoyed these ideas! If you’d like to see more ideas using Photo Stamps, please check out the Photo Stamps Pinterest Board. You can also find all of our Photo Stamps here

Happy creating!
