Shells Texture Stamp Ideas

Darkroom Door - Monday, October 14, 2019
Hi there! We’d like to kick of our new release inspiration by sharing some ideas using the Shells Texture Stamp! Our range of Texture Stamps now includes over 40 designs, so there’s lots of options for adding textures and layers to your projects!! Here’s a look at the Shells Texture Stamp:

This stamp is great for using as a main feature on your card and can be used with many of our Seaside themed stamps.

The Shells Texture Stamp and the sentiment from Seaside Vol 1 Stamp Set were stamped in Potting Soil Archival Ink onto a natural cream card base.

The seahorse from Under The Sea Stamp Set was stamped in the same ink onto Kraft card stock and coloured lightly with white Scribble Stick to add some highlights to the seahorse body.

The Texture Stamps are also great for making smaller gift cards.

The Shells Texture Stamp was stamped in Viridian Archival Ink  onto white card stock. Stamped sentiments and shells from the Seaside Vol 2 Stamp Set were stamped onto Kraft card stock using Tree Branch Archival Ink

Another way to use Texture Stamps is to combine a few different designs together to create a fun background. On this card, the Shells Texture Stamp was stamped a few times in Cobalt Archival Ink. The Torn Text Texture Stamp was then stamped with French Ultramarine Archival ink and the Map Texture Stamp was stamped with Watering Can Archival Ink

Now that the background is created, the Seaside Word Block Stamp is added over the top, stamped in Watering Can Archival Ink, and splattered with After Midnight Dylusions Ink Spray. The two fish are from the Under The Sea Stamp Set and stamped with Watering Can Archival Ink.

Here you can see the Shells Texture Stamp in the corner of the card. The detail looks amazing when used with an oil based ink like Archival Ink! These inks really show the detail in our stamps!
