Seashells Border Stamp Art Journal

Darkroom Door - Friday, March 09, 2018

Hello Darkroom Door friends, Fiona Paltridge here with you again to share an art journal page I have created featuring the new Seashells Border Stamp. Last time I was sharing with you, I created a layout using the Polka Dot Circle stencil and right at the end of the video you saw me "cleaning off" my stencil into my art journal. Well this is the basis of my next creation. I often clean off my stencils and stamps into my journal and then when it comes time for me to create a little something i can open it up and already have some inspiration in a background.

And this was exactly that, I opened my journal and was immediately inspired to create an "Ocean" scene. The video below shows you how I went about this and created some textured stamping and some stamping with spray inks! The Darkroom Door stamps are of such high quality that they really don't mind if you try out something a little less conventional and if anyone is going to do something non conventional .... it'll be me. It's the best way to play!
